Over 70,000 licensed chiropractors work in the United States today. A Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree is equivalent to an MD or a PhD. Before chiropractic college, one must earn a Bachelor's Degree in health sciences like biology, chemistry, or physiology.

After completing undergraduate studies, aspiring chiropractic students enter a four-year chiropractic university that integrates classroom education and hands-on experience.

Evidenced-Based Chiropractic Care. In contemporary chiropractic, multiple impulse technology introduces a gentle yet powerful solution that enables patients to experience relief in a fraction of the time, eliminating the discomfort of twisting, popping, and cracking associated with traditional methods.

Patients of all ages are embracing multiple impulse therapy tools as they effectively target pain stemming from musculoskeletal misalignments throughout the body—empowering individuals to reclaim their health and vitality.

Every patient is different, and every condition can present itself differently within each patient. Therefore, we begin with an examination and medical history to determine the root cause of your problem. Guessing is not an option in our clinic. We need to know facts. After an initial exam, the doctor will assess your condition and determine the next steps. Historically, treatment may begin the same day. In the case of trauma or rare situations, imaging may be required, such as an X-ray, MRI, or CT scan. Dr. Vettraino will provide a prescription to obtain the necessary imaging at your nearest facility.

Each treatment starts with an examination of the condition. We utilize multiple impulse therapy to analyze and adjust the spine. This therapy involves a light-touch, noninvasive device that is FDA-approved and has been used by NASA. The device is precise, measurable, and repeatable. It is safe for individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors, with no contraindications associated with its use.

An new patient examination requires 30 minutes and treatment can take anywhere from five minutes to fifteen minutes.

The multiple impulse therapy device we use is called the Pulstar. Pulstar is an exact science; from it, we can determine how the spine reacts to treatment. The severity of each condition varies from patient to patient; however, after a patient is out of critical care and graduates to maintenance care, visits are once per month, then once every two months and three. Dentists have the advantage of braces to align the teeth; however, chiropractors don't have that option and rely on adjustments, stretching, and the patient for correction.

What can you expect to pay for services? We're pleased to accept most insurance plans, and our fees are typically lower than the State average, making care more accessible. Generally, insurance companies cover 80% of services after the deductible is met, leaving the patient responsible for 20%. Please let your portion of the payment be made at the time of service to simplify the payment process. Since insurance policies can differ significantly, we will review your specific policy before initiating treatment to outline your financial responsibility clearly. Additionally, if your case involves an auto accident or workers' compensation, a third party will handle the fees entirely, relieving you of any financial responsibility.
